Price Master

The price master is the individual or category responsible for linking like-type items when setting prices and selling items. Net•Yield allows you to create price masters for each item you sell. Once the price master has been designated, the system can then use these price masters to control the access to and reporting of the items based on the responsible party.

The price master is assigned to an item on the second page of the item record, or in Pricing Setup.

For example, all steak items might be purchased by Tom, while Jane is responsible for all vegetable products. The price master may also be based on how often you change your prices. Price Master may be defined daily, weekly, or monthly.
